Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Background check required
- Experience in office and administration preferred
- Experience working with the public
- Must have people skills
- Valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army driver qualification standard
- CPR and first aid certifications
- Complete Safe From Harm training within first 90 days of employment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to write reports and respond to questions
- Able to lift, pull and push up to 25 pounds
- Good speaking, hearing and vision ability
- May require bending, squatting, walking and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training and community relations
- Comply with all organizational policies and religious mission guidelines

Job Duties
- Manage the daily oversight of activities for community center
- Work collaboratively with program directors and community collaborators to ensure success of program
- Communicate the needs and success of the community center to schools, service clubs and media
- Assist with training, supervising and evaluating community center staff and volunteers
- Evaluate community center programs and assess population changes for program growth and sustainability
- Develop, implement and update promotional plans for programs
- Coordinate community center schedules and facility usage
- Assist with facility rentals, payments and appropriate staffing
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and risk management
- Maintain all program registration forms, documents and databases
- Maintain computer-based calendars and stay updated on technology
- Maintain communication with divisional headquarters
- Provide role model example for ethical decision-making and respectful communication
- Demonstrate commitment to well-being and personal development of all participants
