Job Description

Clever Care is a rapidly growing Medicare Advantage plan serving Southern California, dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of diverse and underserved communities. Founded with a mission to combine Western medical practices with holistic Eastern medicine, Clever Care offers innovative benefit plans that align with the unique culture, values, and health goals of its members. With an impressive 112% year-over-year membership growth, Clever Care stands out as a dynamic, mission-driven organization focused on delivering culturally sensitive healthcare solutions to seniors and underserved populations. The company is committed to accessibility, diversity, and innovation in the healthcare space, aiming to transform how seniors experience healthcare by bridging cultural gaps and enhancing health outcomes through personalized services and education.

The Community Center Associate role at Clever Care is a fully onsite position based at one or more Medicare Community Centers. This pivotal customer-facing role involves representing Clever Care in the community and delivering exceptional service to Clever Care members and senior citizens. The associate will support the company’s mission by providing culturally sensitive, in-language assistance to members, helping them navigate their healthcare benefits and Medicare options. This role blends customer service, sales responsibilities, event coordination, and community engagement, making it essential to Clever Care’s outreach and growth strategies.

Community Center Associates are responsible for scheduling and organizing health and wellness events, maintaining the facilities and supplies, monitoring traffic and utilization, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the centers. They also play a key role in developing programs, participating in community events, and acting as Medicare Advisors in multiple languages such as Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, culturally competent, and passionate about improving healthcare access for seniors. The associate is expected to work some Saturdays and have an active California Life and Health Insurance License or obtain one within two months of hire. The compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive wages.

Working at Clever Care means becoming part of a fast-moving, innovative environment where collaboration and diversity are celebrated. The Community Center Associate will have opportunities to make a tangible impact in the community by helping seniors better understand their healthcare options and improve their quality of life. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the community, develop and coordinate meaningful programs, and contribute to the mission of making healthcare accessible and culturally appropriate for all members. Prospective associates should be prepared for a physically active role that includes sitting, standing, lifting up to 15 pounds, and occasional travel. The associate must also demonstrate strong organizational skills, reliability, and a customer-focused approach to support the continued growth and success of Clever Care.
