The company is driven by a mission to empower the future of work by delivering not just office spaces but also fostering meaningful connections among its members through collaborative and innovative workspaces. Employing a diverse team across various locations worldwide, WeWork emphasizes inclusivity, creativity, and operational excellence to support businesses ranging from startups to large enterprises.
The role of Community Associate at WeWork is integral to maintaining the welcoming, engaging, and efficient atmosphere that defines the company. As the primary point of contact within the building, a Community Associate plays the essential role of being the 'face' of WeWork. This position involves managing front desk operations, supporting community engagement initiatives, and ensuring the smooth functioning of building operations. Reporting to the Community Management team, the Community Associate will help cultivate a collaborative community environment by organizing events, building member relationships, and promoting WeWork services. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating supportive work environments and who excel in customer service and communication.
In addition to handling front desk duties such as greeting guests, managing building access, and maintaining policies, the Community Associate will actively engage with members by celebrating their milestones, facilitating connections, and supporting event programming. The position demands multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to anticipating member needs. Furthermore, the Community Associate is responsible for building operations tasks like managing mail and courier services, overseeing security protocols with keycards, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in communal spaces.
WeWork values individuals who demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic while embodying the company's core values. Candidates for this role should have hospitality experience, strong communication abilities, and a passion for building entrepreneurial communities. This full-time role offers competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 hourly, along with the opportunity to participate in incentive plans specific to the role. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, healthcare, and retirement plans, reinforcing WeWork’s commitment to employee well-being.
Joining WeWork means becoming part of a global community that celebrates diversity, inclusiveness, and collaboration. Employees are encouraged to share ideas and participate in initiatives that foster a dynamic work culture. As an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, WeWork promotes fairness and diversity, providing a welcoming environment for all individuals regardless of background or identity. By becoming a Community Associate, you contribute to the company’s mission of shaping the future of work and supporting members in achieving success in a thriving community-focused workplace.
