Established in 1993 and headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar has grown exponentially to manage and operate over $300 billion of real estate assets on a global scale. With a presence spanning North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region, the company is recognized particularly as the largest operator of apartments in the United States, managing over one million units and beds worldwide. Greystar's reputation is built on a commitment to delivering world-class service in rental residential real estate, guided by innovation, operational excellence, and a client-focused approach.

The Community Assistant position at Monarch 716, a student living community in Buffalo, New York, is an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in property management within a dynamic and supportive environment. This part-time role primarily supports the leasing and property management teams by performing administrative and customer service tasks vital to maintaining high occupancy and resident retention. As a Community Assistant, you will be integral in creating a welcoming community atmosphere, assisting with marketing efforts, leasing activities, and coordinating resident services.

The role includes responsibilities such as preparing lease paperwork, organizing resident files, responding to prospective resident inquiries, conducting property tours, and participating in resident move-ins and move-outs. This position requires flexibility, as it involves some after-hours on-call duties and the ability to work in varied weather conditions due to the property’s operational needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Part-time team members at Greystar also enjoy benefits such as a 401(k) with company match, an employee assistance program, and paid sick time. The position suits detail-oriented, customer-service-driven individuals who thrive in team environments and appreciate the fast-paced nature of property management focused on student living communities.

Working at Monarch 716 means joining a passionate team dedicated to delivering a superior leasing experience and fostering a supportive community for students.
