Community Activation Ambassador

Our organization is actively seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals, particularly students, to join us as Community Activation Ambassadors. We are a community-focused entity committed to engaging with residents across Trumbull, Mahoning, Summit, Portage, and Geauga Counties through vibrant local events and outreach initiatives. Our dedication to community engagement is demonstrated through active participation in festivals, gatherings, and other communal activities where we aim to create memorable experiences for all attendees. The role of a Community Activation Ambassador is an exciting, event-based position perfect for students or anyone aged 16 or older who enjoys meeting new people and contributing to the energy of local events. This part-time, temporary role offers flexible scheduling that complements school and other personal commitments, providing approximately 10 or more hours weekly depending on the event calendar. Ambassadors will be central figures at community events, operating our mobile activation trailer, facilitating event setups, engaging with visitors by sharing pertinent information, and assisting with activities such as games, giveaways, and sign-ups. This position is designed to provide real-world experience in marketing, outreach, and community engagement, enhancing professional skills and opening doors for future career opportunities within the organization.

In addition to hands-on experience, Ambassadors can expect to benefit from networking opportunities with local leaders and organizations, gaining insights into community relations and event coordination. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to build their resume, develop communication and interpersonal skills, and work in a fun, team-oriented environment. The position demands dependability, professionalism, and the physical ability to assist with event setups, including lifting items up to 25 pounds.
