Committed to excellence and continuous improvement, PEFCU fosters an environment grounded in integrity, inclusion, collaboration, service, and ownership, which are the core values that guide every associate's efforts. The credit union takes pride in creating a workplace where all associates feel valued and have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s continued growth and success.
PEFCU is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Communications Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping, delivering, and managing both internal and external communication strategies that effectively promote the credit union’s brand, mission, and key initiatives. The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for crafting clear, engaging content across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with the organizational objectives. This position involves close collaboration with various departments, leadership teams, and external vendors to maintain cohesive communication efforts. The Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening employee engagement, supporting marketing campaigns, overseeing vendor relationships, analyzing communication effectiveness, and managing project communications.
The role requires the ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-friendly communications while ensuring all messaging stays true to the brand’s voice and tone. This individual will also contribute to the development and publication of critical alerts and maintain up-to-date internal content, including intranet materials and newsletters. Additionally, the Communications Coordinator will work with facilities teams to manage the distribution and inventory of communication assets. They will be instrumental in supporting community involvement initiatives and various annual projects, contributing to PEFCU’s reputation as an innovative and member-focused organization.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills. With 0 to 2 years of experience preferred in communications, PR, or marketing, this role suits a motivated professional eager to grow their career in a supportive and value-driven environment. PEFCU offers competitive pay, pay-for-performance incentives, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with no cost for employee-only coverage, generous paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more. This opportunity is perfect for candidates who appreciate work-life balance, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple projects in collaborative settings. Join PEFCU to find your value as their Communications Coordinator and make a meaningful impact in a well-established financial institution.
