The position of Commissary Chef is pivotal within the Eurest leadership team, focusing on overseeing all centralized culinary production for high-volume dining accounts. The Commissary Chef’s key responsibility is managing batch cooking, food production, packaging, and distribution to multiple service locations, ensuring seamless operations that meet daily demands. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team of culinary associates while upholding the highest food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in a centralized kitchen environment. The Commissary Chef plays an integral role in cost control, inventory management, and production planning, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining operational excellence. This position also involves collaborating closely with culinary and marketing teams to deploy new menu initiatives across various locations, contributing to the company's innovative culinary offerings. Candidates will be expected to have experience in high-volume batch cooking, production planning and logistics, as well as inventory control, all while adhering to HACCP standards. Job Duties

  • Oversee all commissary kitchen operations including large-scale food production packaging and distribution
  • Manage cost controls and monitor expenditures to ensure efficient commissary operations
  • Develop standardized recipes and scalable menus designed for high-volume production and multi-site service
  • Purchase receive and manage inventory ensuring proper stock levels and product rotation
  • Lead production planning scheduling and logistics to meet daily delivery demands
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitation and HACCP standards within a centralized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to roll out new programs and menu initiatives across supported locations
  • Train mentor and develop culinary staff in commissary processes consistency and quality control
