- food handler's certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Job Duties
- prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and desserts based on catering menus and production needs
- scale and follow recipes with consistency and accuracy
- work closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Lead to plan weekly bakes and production timelines
- maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety standards
- label, store, and rotate baked goods for event prep and delivery
- assist in packaging and prepping baked items for transport to offsite events
- operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, convection ovens, proofers
