Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, product commercialization, or CPG manufacturing/supply chain
  • Proficient business and financial acumen
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of innovation tools and processes
  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to challenge existing processes and drive strategic initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, supply chain, technical or project management concentration preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in project management, product commercialization and/or CPG manufacturing/supply chain
  • Proficient/advanced business and financial acumen
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Detailed knowledge of innovation tools and processes, Stage Gate, Campbell's D4 or similar early-stage iterative development process
  • Experience working with senior leadership while willing to roll up sleeves with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to drive strategic decision-making and challenge the status quo
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Project management of highly complex projects with a focus on improvement and high-impact initiatives within and across categories and coach cross-functional teams for development
  • Lead category portfolio management reviews, gate reviews, and prioritization processes to ensure projects align with business goals and timelines
  • Apply proficient understanding of business and financial acumen to develop, deliver and drive business results through effective PMR and prioritization forums
  • Help craft and drive the transformation of commercialization using communication discipline and continuity and overall risk assessments that build risk tolerance
  • Manage a team of Commercialization Project Leaders (CPLs) and/or Senior CPLs, providing guidance and support to achieve project success
  • Drive strategic thinking across the portfolio, making decisions on trade-offs and challenging the status quo to optimize outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business, leveraging expertise in commercialization
  • Identify and drive mitigation strategies for interdependencies and conflicts between projects, ensuring smooth project execution and meeting Category goals
  • Act as the commercialization expert within the category, utilizing proficient/advanced business and financial acumen to drive commercialization trade-offs and PMR discussions
