Job Description

FIFA26 is the organizing body behind the FIFA World Cup 26™, a historic and groundbreaking event that will be hosted for the first time by three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This edition of the FIFA World Cup™ will feature a new expanded format with 48 teams competing, fundamentally redefining the standards of global sports excellence. The event aims to foster unprecedented levels of fan participation and engagement by uniting diverse audiences across the continent and the world through the world's most celebrated soccer tournament. Within this dynamic and highly visible framework, the role of the Commercial Stadium Fan Experience Manager based in Houston plays a pivotal role. Reporting organizationally to the Tournament Headquarters, this manager will be the linchpin in delivering the stadium fan engagement areas, which encompass both commercial partner activations and FIFA-led initiatives specifically designed to enhance the match day ticket holder experience. The primary focus of this position is the operational planning and management of these experiences, ensuring all activities run smoothly, safely, and aligned with FIFA26’s brand and standards. This role demands exceptional logistical coordination skills to manage the seamless installation, operation, and dismantling of commercial activations within the stadium environment.

This includes oversight of partner booth logistics, enforcement of venue regulations, and constant communication and alignment during build, event, and dismantling phases. Additionally, they will be responsible for trouble-shooting and real-time issue resolution, site readiness verification, and meticulous operational documentation. A strategic mindset complemented by a keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, results, and accountability are fundamental to succeeding in this role.

This position is ideal for candidates who have a proven track record in sports event management, ideally within sponsorship marketing and international sports events, and who are fluent in English with additional language skills considered a plus. Proficiency in technological tools such as MS Office and planning software is essential. Employment is offered on a fixed-term contract basis, with onsite work located in Houston.
