Job Requirements
- Education: high school or GED
- 1-3 years of roofing experience
- No required certifications
- Driver's license is a plus
- Knowledge of safety techniques and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute work assignments
- General knowledge of cutting, shaping, fitting, or joining construction materials
- Interpersonal skills to work on a team

Job Duties
- Clean up debris from the roof surface and surrounding property
- Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using materials like TPO, EPDM, and PVC
- Cut felt, shingles, and flashing to fit angles formed by walls, vents, and roof surfaces
- Install vapor barriers and insulation layers on flat roofs and seal seams
- Cover exposed nail heads with cement or caulking to prevent leaks
- Cut and attach roofing paper to form a base for roofing materials
- Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings to roofing structures
- Repair cracks, defects, or damage using appropriate materials
- Operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment
- Train and coach other employees
- Inspect equipment, structures, and materials
- Evaluate compliance with standards and safety policies
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Use oral and written communication effectively
