Job Description
WAHVE is a pioneering company in the insurance staffing industry that specializes in connecting highly experienced insurance professionals with flexible, remote work opportunities. Known for its innovative approach to redefining retirement, WAHVE offers seasoned insurance experts the chance to 'retire from the office but not from work.' This unique philosophy provides a bridge for professionals who want to phase into retirement without giving up the meaningful engagement of their careers. WAHVE’s platform supports work-life balance by allowing candidates to select either full-time or part-time schedules, all from the comfort of their own homes. This model has revolutionized how insurance careers can evolve, especially for those with extensive experience in the industry.
As a remote employment company, WAHVE prioritizes an environment that values employee well-being and professional growth. Their leadership is known for being friendly and professional, fostering a welcoming workplace culture even in a virtual setting. WAHVE serves a niche customer base within the Property and Casualty independent retail broker market, providing expert professionals to help manage and grow commercial lines accounts. The company is passionate about preserving insurance industry knowledge and delivering exceptional service to clients while making a meaningful difference through their work.
The Commercial Lines Account Manager role at WAHVE is designed for experienced insurance professionals who want to leverage their skills in a flexible, remote setting. This position involves managing client accounts focused on building and strengthening relationships through exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include preparing insurance applications, marketing new and renewal risks, reviewing contracts, issuing Certificates of Insurance (COIs), coordinating with underwriters to obtain quotes, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of policies, binders, and endorsements. The company prefers candidates familiar with independent agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft, with EPIC being in particularly high demand.
The role offers a competitive base pay ranging from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, available on a full-time or part-time basis. Candidates must have a substantial background with at least 25 years of full-time work experience, including the last 10 years in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance. This ensures that the expertise and knowledge vital to supporting WAHVE's clients are maintained at a high standard.
In summary, WAHVE provides a rare and highly attractive opportunity for insurance professionals approaching retirement to continue contributing their expertise in a stress-free, flexible remote environment offering competitive pay and benefits. This role is ideal for those seeking autonomy in their work schedule while remaining active in their profession and connected to a community of like-minded, experienced peers.
