Job Description
WAHVE is a forward-thinking company dedicated to transforming the traditional insurance work environment by offering remote job opportunities designed to appeal especially to experienced insurance professionals who are interested in phasing into retirement. WAHVE understands the value of significant insurance expertise and provides a unique platform that enables seasoned professionals to transition smoothly from office-based roles to flexible, work-from-home positions. This approach supports a healthy work-life balance while preserving valuable industry knowledge and experience. By offering long-term, remote positions with company benefits, WAHVE empowers insurance experts to continue contributing meaningfully to the industry on their own terms.
As a dynamic organization, WAHVE is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive workplace environment characterized by professional and friendly leadership. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service to clients and maintaining a strong culture of care for its employees. Known for its passionate and determined approach, WAHVE ensures that each team member can bring their expertise to bear for independent property and casualty broker clients. The company’s goal is to help experienced insurance professionals retire from the office but not from their valuable work.
The role offered is that of a Commercial Lines Account Manager, primarily focused on managing client accounts for property & casualty independent retail brokers. This role includes responsibilities such as building and strengthening client relationships, preparing applications, marketing new and renewal risks, reviewing contracts and insurance certificates, coordinating with underwriters, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of policies, binders, and endorsements. Proficiency in independent agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft is highly preferred, with current high demand for EPIC and AMS360 skills.
Candidates for this role must have at least 25 years of full-time work experience and a minimum of 10 years in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance. The company offers full-time or part-time schedules to provide flexibility in how professionals choose to extend their careers. Benefits such as health insurance (based on eligibility), a 401(k) program with a 4% company match, and a virtual team environment enhance the appeal of this position, emphasizing the removal of office stress and commute while allowing professionals to select the kind of work they want to pursue.
This opportunity at WAHVE is ideal for experienced insurance professionals who seek to leverage their extensive knowledge in a flexible and rewarding remote work setup. The comprehensive benefits, combined with a supportive company culture and the freedom to choose one’s schedule, make this a highly attractive option for those approaching retirement who want to remain actively engaged in the insurance industry.
