Job Description

WAHVE is a pioneering remote workforce company that specializes in connecting highly experienced insurance professionals with companies in need of expert talent, all while allowing candidates to work entirely from home. Recognizing the immense value of insurance industry knowledge, WAHVE has crafted a unique employment model that empowers seasoned insurance experts to transition smoothly from traditional office roles into flexible remote positions. The company focuses on helping those who are approaching retirement or considering a work-life balance adjustment to 'retire from the office but not from work.' This innovative approach is designed to preserve valuable industry expertise and keep experienced professionals engaged in meaningful, long-term roles. WAHVE offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, catering to individual schedules and personal preferences while providing comprehensive company benefits.

The role available at WAHVE is the Commercial Lines Account Manager position, supporting independent Property and Casualty retail broker clients. This position primarily involves managing commercial lines client accounts by building and strengthening relationships through exceptional customer service. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will prepare insurance applications, market new and renewal risks, and manage policy documentation including contracts and Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Collaborating with underwriters to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and issue policies is a central part of this role. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial when reviewing policies, binders, and endorsements to ensure they are complete and precise.

Ideal candidates for this position are seasoned insurance professionals with extensive Commercial Lines Property and Casualty experience, particularly those familiar with independent agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft. Experience with EPIC is especially sought after given its high demand. WAHVE prides itself on offering a welcoming, professional, and supportive work environment even though the roles are remote. Candidates will join a dynamic virtual team of experienced insurance professionals, enabling collaboration and connection despite the remote setup.

This role is perfect for professionals with at least 25 years of full-time work experience and a minimum of 10 recent years in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance, looking to leverage their deep industry expertise in a flexible and stress-free work setting. In addition to flexibility, the role comes with benefits such as health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) plan with a 4% match, and the opportunity to avoid daily commutes and office-related stress. WAHVE fosters a work environment where employees can select the assignments they prefer, contributing to increased job satisfaction and work-life harmony. Those interested in becoming a WAHVE Vintage Expert are encouraged to apply and join a growing community that values experience and offers rewarding career continuation opportunities from home.
