Job Description
WAHVE is a pioneering company specializing in offering experienced insurance professionals the opportunity to continue their careers remotely as they phase into retirement. Founded with the mission to transform the way seasoned insurance experts view retirement, WAHVE allows qualified candidates to maintain an active role in the insurance industry while enjoying the benefits of working from home. This innovative approach ensures individuals can retire from the traditional office environment but not from their professional expertise and passion for insurance.
As a company, WAHVE values both its employees and clients by fostering a welcoming, professional environment led by dedicated leadership focused on excellent customer service and preserving vital insurance industry knowledge. Their work culture is designed to support work-life balance, offering flexible full-time or part-time schedules. This flexibility enables insurance professionals who have amassed extensive experience to leverage their skills in a long-term remote position, while still enjoying company benefits traditionally associated with in-office roles.
The role available is that of a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support independent retail broker clients, particularly in Property and Casualty insurance. This position involves managing client accounts, strengthening relationships through top-tier customer service, and handling various administrative and operational aspects such as preparing applications, marketing new and renewal risks, contract review, and issuance of Certificates of Insurance. The candidate will also liaise with underwriters to acquire quotes, bind coverage, and issue policies, ensuring that all documentation such as policies, binders, and endorsements are accurate and complete.
WAHVE prefers candidates familiar with EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft agency management systems, highlighting a high demand for EPIC experience. The company specifically targets experienced professionals with a minimum of 25 years of full-time work experience and at least the most recent 10 years in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance. The role promises to be a rewarding opportunity for insurance veterans who want to stay actively engaged in the industry while enjoying the convenience of a work-from-home setup.
Additionally, WAHVE offers substantial benefits, including health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match, and the ability to choose work schedules that align with personal needs and lifestyle. Employees will experience the elimination of daily commutes and office-related stresses, becoming part of a dynamic, virtual team environment with other seasoned professionals. This opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time employment, making it an ideal match for those seeking flexibility and professional fulfillment as they transition away from traditional office roles.
