Job Description
WAHVE is a pioneering company dedicated to transforming the traditional retirement model by providing seasoned insurance professionals with flexible, remote work opportunities. As a company at the forefront of the work-from-home revolution, WAHVE specializes in connecting experienced individuals in the insurance industry with meaningful, long-term assignments that allow them to phase into retirement while continuing to contribute their valuable expertise. The company's mission focuses on providing a supportive workplace environment that values professionalism, outstanding customer service, and the preservation of industry knowledge. With WAHVE, professionals no longer have to choose between stepping away from their careers or continuing to endure the stresses of an office environment. They offer a unique platform where experienced insurance experts can retire from the office but not from their work, maintaining a work-life balance that is rarely achievable in conventional office settings.
At WAHVE, the emphasis is on personal choice and flexibility, enabling employees to select full-time or part-time schedules that suit their lifestyles and needs. This approach not only supports individuals' transition into retirement but also provides continued income and engagement in their professional passions. The company values its employees highly, offering benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, and the elimination of daily commutes and office-related stress. The remote format fosters a dynamic yet virtual team environment, encouraging connection and collaboration among like-minded insurance professionals who bring decades of experience to the table.
The role available at WAHVE is for a Commercial Lines Account Manager who will play a critical role in supporting independent retail broker clients in the property and casualty insurance sectors. This position involves managing client accounts, focusing on strengthening relationships through exceptional service, and performing essential tasks such as preparing applications, marketing new and renewal insurance risks, reviewing contracts, and issuing certificates of insurance. Additionally, candidates will coordinate with underwriters to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of policies and endorsements. Experience with industry-standard independent agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft is preferred, with a particular demand for professionals skilled in EPIC.
This role is geared toward seasoned professionals, requiring candidates to have at least 25 years of full-time work experience, with the most recent 10 years focused on commercial lines property and casualty insurance. WAHVE’s positions are ideal for those looking to leverage their extensive knowledge in a flexible, accommodating work environment that values expertise and fosters continued professional growth. The company fosters a welcoming atmosphere depicted by friendly and professional leadership, making it an attractive destination for veteran insurance specialists who want to remain active in their careers without the constraints of traditional office work. Compensation for these positions ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, reflecting the high value placed on experience, skill, and dedication in this specialized field.
