Job Description

WAHVE is a forward-thinking company specializing in providing work-from-home opportunities, particularly for seasoned insurance professionals looking to phase into retirement while continuing their careers. The company embraces the evolving landscape of remote work by offering flexible, long-term positions that allow individuals to maintain work-life balance and leverage their extensive insurance expertise. WAHVE’s unique platform is designed to support both full-time and part-time schedules, making it an ideal choice for professionals who want to retire from the traditional office environment without retiring from their valued work. As a recognized leader in the insurance staffing industry, WAHVE prides itself on fostering a supportive and welcoming workplace culture. The company is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and preserving critical insurance industry knowledge through its dedicated team of experienced professionals.

Currently, WAHVE is seeking Commercial Lines Account Managers to support its Property and Casualty independent retail broker clients. This remote position involves managing client accounts with a focus on building and strengthening relationships by providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include preparing applications, marketing new and renewal risks, reviewing contracts and issuing Certificates of Insurance, coordinating with underwriters to secure quotes and bind coverage, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of policies, binders, and endorsements. Candidates with experience using agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft are highly preferred, with a current high demand for EPIC proficiency.

The position requires candidates to have a minimum of 25 years of full-time work experience and at least 10 of the most recent years spent in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance. WAHVE offers benefits including health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) plan with a 4% match, and the opportunity to work in a professional yet flexible environment that eliminates the stress of commuting and office distractions. This role is designed for insurance veterans who wish to utilize their extensive industry knowledge while working remotely in a dynamic and collaborative virtual team. This job can be performed on a full- or part-time basis, providing the flexibility to choose work schedules that align with personal preferences and retirement goals. Join WAHVE to retire from the office but not from meaningful work, connecting with other seasoned insurance professionals in a vibrant virtual community.
