Job Description
WAHVE is a forward-thinking company specializing in providing remote work opportunities within the insurance industry, particularly targeting professionals who are phasing into retirement. As a remote workforce solutions provider, WAHVE has established itself as a leader in offering seasoned insurance professionals the flexibility to continue their careers from home while balancing their personal lives. With a strong commitment to work-life balance, WAHVE allows its employees to choose between full-time and part-time work schedules, catering perfectly to those seeking flexible, long-term remote positions that still offer competitive company benefits.
The company prides itself on creating a welcoming and professional environment supported by friendly leadership, which is dedicated to the well-being of both its employees and clients. WAHVE values exceptional customer service and upholds the preservation of insurance industry knowledge through its unique staffing model. By focusing on leveraging the expertise of experienced insurance veterans, the company aims to make a significant impact in the commercial lines sector while providing meaningful work opportunities.
The role currently available at WAHVE is that of a Commercial Lines Account Manager, designed to assist independent retail broker clients specializing in Property and Casualty insurance. This position is ideal for insurance experts with commercial lines experience who wish to work remotely, utilizing their extensive background to manage client accounts effectively. Responsibilities include managing commercial lines client relationships, preparing insurance applications, marketing both new and renewal risks, and handling contract reviews. The candidate will also coordinate with underwriters to secure quotes, bind coverage, issue policies, and ensure all documentation such as policies, binders, and endorsements are accurate and complete.
A key advantage for candidates is the preference for experience with popular independent agency management systems such as EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft, with EPIC currently in high demand. Given the role’s remote nature, this position offers the elimination of office stress and the daily commute efficiently allowing professionals to retire from the traditional office environment without retiring from their career.
In addition to a flexible work schedule, WAHVE offers competitive benefits including health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) plan with a 4 percent company match, and the opportunity to engage with a dynamic virtual team of like-minded insurance professionals. This role is particularly suited for candidates with a robust background, specifically those who have 25 years of full-time work experience and at least 10 recent years in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance. The company provides a platform to maintain and utilize one’s expert knowledge in a way that fits today’s work-from-home lifestyle.
