Job Description

WAHVE is a pioneering company that aims to transform the traditional concept of retirement by offering experienced insurance professionals the opportunity to phase into retirement while continuing their careers remotely. WAHVE specializes in providing flexible, remote work options primarily for seasoned insurance experts, allowing them to maintain their professional roles without the necessity of commuting to a physical office. This innovative approach supports work-life balance by enabling employees to choose between full-time or part-time positions, catering to their personal and professional needs as they transition toward retirement.

This commitment ensures both clients and staff experience a respectful, engaging, and rewarding professional relationship.

The role offered is for experienced Commercial Lines Account Managers who will provide high-level support to Property & Casualty independent retail broker clients. This position involves managing client accounts with a strong focus on relationship-building, customer service, and insurance policy administration. Candidates can expect to work in a virtual, flexible capacity that values their extensive knowledge and experience in commercial lines insurance.

This remote, long-term position includes various responsibilities such as preparing insurance applications, marketing new and renewal risks, managing contract reviews, issuing Certificates of Insurance (COIs), coordinating with underwriters to obtain quotes and bind coverage, and reviewing policies for accuracy. Experience with independent agency management systems like EPIC, AMS360, Sagitta, or Hawksoft is highly preferred, with EPIC being in particularly high demand.

Employment with WAHVE offers significant benefits, including health insurance eligibility, a 401(k) plan with a 4 percent company match, and the ability to retire from the traditional office setting while continuing to work in a professional capacity. The company encourages applicants who have at least 25 years of full-time work experience, including the most recent 10 years specifically in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance.

This opportunity is ideal for seasoned insurance professionals seeking a flexible, remote work arrangement that honors their career accomplishments and expertise while enabling them to enjoy a balanced lifestyle. WAHVE's commitment to creating a dynamic virtual community of like-minded professionals ensures that employees remain connected and engaged despite the remote nature of the work.
