The role available at Nextech involves delivering the highest level of customer service, technical expertise, and quality across all service interactions. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing standard commercial refrigeration units such as reach-in coolers and freezers, beverage dispensers, walk-in coolers and freezers, and rack units. The technician will diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of commercial refrigeration systems while traveling to various job sites within the assigned service area.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with dispatchers to maintain schedules and effectively communicate delays to customers. Candidates should be prepared to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to address emergency service needs, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in this role. Maintaining company vehicle cleanliness and organization is also part of the job scope, along with managing proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.

Documenting service details and parts used via company-provided digital tools like cell phones or iPads is crucial for operational efficiency. Technicians must also follow all environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling and disposal in compliance with EPA guidelines.
