Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 pounds or more
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures and work under close supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician or related job experience
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
Job Duties
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
