As a Delivery Driver, you will utilize company-provided vehicles to transport automotive parts to commercial customers, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. You will be responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, following route schedules, and handling returns and pickups efficiently. There is no requirement for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), making this role accessible to a wider range of candidates. AutoZone also emphasizes safety compliance and expects each driver to adhere strictly to company fleet safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

The position requires at least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license. Basic knowledge of automotive parts is necessary to provide informed assistance and support during deliveries. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred, and additional skills such as bilingual communication in Spanish and English, prior automotive retail experience, and a Hazmat endorsement are considered advantageous.

In this role, you will be delivering WOW! customer service by engaging with both commercial accounts and DIY shoppers, offering clear automotive guidance, and occasionally assisting with product installation. Collaboration with store personnel and commercial customers will be central to your success, along with maintaining efficiency in delivery operations measured by timeliness and accuracy. Beyond driving, you will be expected to manage cash and charge transactions securely, keep current with product knowledge and promotional updates, and perform routine fleet maintenance checks.
