Job Description
WAHVE is a forward-thinking company dedicated to transforming the traditional insurance career path by offering experienced professionals an opportunity to transition smoothly into retirement while continuing to contribute their expertise remotely. Established with the vision to bridge the gap between seasoned insurance professionals and the evolving needs of the industry, WAHVE has built a unique platform enabling individuals to work from home with flexibility, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance in their later career stages. They emphasize a supportive and professional work environment, valuing both their staff and clients by fostering an inclusive culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service and preserving critical insurance industry knowledge.
The role offered by WAHVE is tailored specifically for insurance professionals with significant experience who wish to leverage their skills in a remote setting. This opportunity is available both as a full-time and part-time position, providing candidates with the freedom to choose a schedule that best suits their lifestyle. The positions open include Commercial Claims Adjuster or Examiner roles, which involve managing a variety of commercial insurance claims. Experts in lines of insurance such as General Liability, Bodily Injury, Property, Commercial Auto Liability, Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, and other specialized claim types will find their skills highly valued here. This role requires handling complex claim situations including reviewing police reports, legal documents, and medical bills, setting reserves, managing payments, and conducting recorded statements. Experience with litigation and subrogation is particularly sought after, and holding an adjuster’s license is considered an asset.
The WAHVE platform not only promotes an innovative approach to continuing insurance careers from home but also supports their employees with meaningful benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k) plan with a match, and a stress-free work environment free from commuting pressures. By joining WAHVE, candidates become part of a vibrant virtual team where they can connect with like-minded insurance professionals and continue to contribute meaningfully to the industry. This role is ideal for those with a minimum of 25 years of work experience, including at least 10 years in property and casualty commercial claims adjusting, who are ready to embrace remote work while maintaining professional excellence and a connection to the insurance community. Overall, WAHVE offers a rare and flexible opportunity designed specifically for vintage insurance experts to retire from the office but not from their careers.
