Job Description
WAHVE is a forward-thinking company dedicated to revolutionizing the way experienced insurance professionals transition toward retirement by offering remote work opportunities. As a remote staffing platform, WAHVE focuses on connecting highly skilled insurance experts with long-term, flexible work assignments that allow them to phase out of traditional office environments while still contributing their valuable expertise. With a core mission to retain industry knowledge and provide meaningful work-life balance, WAHVE has cultivated a welcoming and professional virtual work environment that prioritizes both employee satisfaction and client service excellence.
WAHVE specializes in placing seasoned insurance professionals in part-time or full-time roles that suit their schedules and career goals, specifically targeting those with extensive experience in property and casualty insurance claims. This approach supports individuals who desire to "retire from the office but not from work," thereby creating opportunities to stay actively engaged in the insurance field without the commute and pressure of a conventional office setting. Employment with WAHVE offers competitive benefits, including health insurance eligibility and a 401(k) retirement plan featuring a 4% match, underscoring the company’s commitment to ensuring financial and personal security for its remote workforce.
The current openings at WAHVE seek qualified candidates for Commercial Claims Adjuster or Examiner positions. These roles involve working with insurance carriers or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and managing a diverse range of claim types including General Liability, Bodily Injury, Property, Commercial Auto Liability, Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, Professional Liability, and others. Candidates will handle claims remotely from their homes, engaging in tasks such as claim setup, file documentation, reviewing reports and bills, and conducting detailed investigations including recorded statements. Experience in litigation and subrogation is highly valued, and while an adjuster’s license is a plus, it is not mandatory.
WAHVE is experiencing a high demand for professionals with expertise in litigation claims, commercial auto claims, bodily injury, or construction defects. This demand highlights the company’s active engagement with complex insurance cases requiring seasoned judgment and sound decision-making capabilities. The role allows insurance veterans to leverage their 25 or more years of full-time work experience and at least 10 years of recent commercial claims adjusting experience, making the job an ideal fit for individuals who want to continue contributing meaningfully to the field while enjoying the autonomy and convenience of remote work.
Joining WAHVE means becoming part of a dynamic virtual team that values mentorship, knowledge preservation, and professional growth. The company emphasizes a culture of care both for its staff and clientele, fostering a collaborative and stimulating environment despite the physical distance. Choosing WAHVE as an employer enables insurance professionals to maintain active employment with the flexibility to design their work schedules, eliminate workplace stress, and avoid daily commutes. This role represents a unique opportunity to blend expert insurance knowledge with modern remote work capabilities, all within a supportive and resourceful company framework.
