Job Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 25 pounds independently
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and working on slippery or uneven surfaces
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Conform to standardized recipes and presentation standards while preparing and baking pastries, breads, and desserts
- Measure out, combine, portion, and get ready the components for the daily baking tasks
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of baking equipment and tools
- Keep an eye on ovens and kitchen machinery to ensure the precise cooking periods and heat settings are maintained
- Comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Prepare and dismantle workstations in accordance with kitchen protocols
- Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and organization within the bakery/kitchen setting to create a secure and efficient work atmosphere
- Converse in a professional manner with fellow team members and guests when required
- Be there for your colleagues and contribute to a harmonious team atmosphere
- Follow through with extra assignments and responsibilities as mandated by managers
