Job Description

This job opportunity is with a reputable restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to excellent customer service. The establishment prides itself on providing a quality dining experience to its guests, emphasizing cleanliness, efficiency, and attentiveness within its team. As a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and dedication, this restaurant aims to create a supportive workplace while delivering top-notch meals that guests enjoy. The restaurant supports employee growth by offering structured benefits, making it an attractive place for those seeking a stable, full-time position in the hospitality industry.

The role being offered is that of a restaurant busser, which is a vital part of the front-of-house team. Bussers play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area, ensuring that guests receive timely and attentive service. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail as bussers are responsible for clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes, and supporting the servers by alerting them when guests need assistance. The typical work schedule involves standing or walking for eight-hour shifts and includes some lifting of heavy items, making physical fitness an important aspect of the role.

This full-time position comes with a competitive compensation package reflective of the restaurant’s commitment to its employees. Full-time staff are eligible to receive health insurance after a 90-day waiting period, which demonstrates the company’s dedication to supporting the well-being of its workforce. Additionally, after one year of employment, the restaurant offers a 401(k) matching program that helps employees plan for their future financial security. During shifts, employees such as servers, hosts, and busser combinations receive a 50% discount on all food items, with cooks enjoying free meals, which helps enhance job satisfaction and encourages a positive team culture.

This bussing role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in an active hospitality setting. No prior restaurant experience is strictly necessary, but previous work in a similar fast-paced environment is preferred to ensure smooth adaptation to the job’s requirements. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, physical endurance, and a cooperative attitude towards their colleagues, helping maintain an efficient flow within the restaurant. If you are eager to join a dynamic team and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for guests, this position offers an excellent starting point with growth potential within the restaurant industry.
