This role is responsible for executing high-volume color matching processes to ensure precise paint matches that meet customer and company standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in laboratory or relevant environment
- Ability to mix and apply paint accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to follow established procedures and workflows
- Basic computer literacy for job tracking and documentation
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of laboratory experience
- Experience in paint, automotive, or manufacturing environments
Job Duties
- Mix paint formulas manually or using automated systems based on specifications
- Prepare and apply paint to metal panels and complete baking procedures
- Transfer completed panels to colorists for evaluation
- Maintain high-quality standards while completing assignments
- Follow established procedures to support high-volume daily operations
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
- Report safety concerns and maintain awareness of procedures
- Perform general lab housekeeping including cleaning, stocking, and organizing
- Maintain equipment and workstations in clean, organized condition
- Navigate computer systems for job tracking and documentation
- Follow digital workflows and maintain accurate records
