Known for its commitment to quality workmanship, honesty, and employee care, this company has built a strong reputation in the automotive repair industry by fostering a culture of mentorship, teamwork, and long-term career growth. Many team members have stayed with the company for years, contributing to a stable and supportive work environment that values each employee as a crucial part of the business's success. The company emphasizes a family-like atmosphere where collaboration and respect are paramount, making it an attractive employer for those seeking a career rather than just a job.
The Collision Shop Porter role at International Sport Motors is a hands-on, dynamic position essential to the smooth operation of the collision repair process. This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistency and work-life balance. The hourly pay ranges from $25 to $27, reflecting the company's recognition of the position's importance and the skills required. The role goes beyond simply washing cars; it involves supporting the entire collision production team by moving vehicles safely throughout the shop, helping with parts organization and matching, detailing repaired vehicles before delivery, and assisting technicians and production staff as needed.
This position is ideal for individuals with a background in automotive or collision shops who take pride in their work and enjoy staying active and engaged throughout the day. Working as a Collision Shop Porter at International Sport Motors means becoming an integral part of a veteran team dedicated to quality repairs and excellent customer service. The shop itself is comfortable and well-ventilated, ensuring a safe and pleasant working environment. Employees benefit from working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in mentorship and the growth of the next generation of collision repair experts.
International Sport Motors also offers an attractive benefits package to support its employees’ well-being and future. These benefits include full employer-paid medical insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching after one year, paid holidays, and paid sick time. Additionally, the company provides ASE reimbursement and training opportunities, encouraging professional development and certification. This combination of competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive workplace culture makes the Collision Shop Porter position an excellent opportunity for those looking to establish a lasting career in the collision repair industry.
Applicants are encouraged to apply promptly as the company moves quickly through its hiring process. After applying, candidates will complete a short phone interview with an AI assistant named Paige, allowing for a convenient and efficient screening process. Those who complete this interview receive priority consideration, emphasizing the company’s dedication to a swift and organized hiring experience. Overall, International Sport Motors stands out as a respected, family-owned collision repair center offering a stable, rewarding work environment for dedicated professionals who want to grow and thrive in their careers.
