Job Description
AutoNation is one of the largest and most trusted automotive retailers in the United States, dedicated to offering an extensive range of new and used vehicles, comprehensive customer financing options, parts, and expert maintenance and repair services. With a broad national network of dealerships and collision centers, AutoNation continuously strives to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions that empower customers to make informed decisions tailored to their automotive needs. The company's commitment extends beyond business; through its DRV PNK campaign, AutoNation has raised over $40 million for cancer research, underscoring a powerful dedication to community impact and social responsibility. AutoNation fosters a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment where innovation, teamwork, and positive impact are paramount values.
The Collision Concierge position at AutoNation serves as an essential front-line role that directly supports customers facing collision repairs at the dealership level. This role involves acting as the primary liaison between customers and the AutoNation Collision Center, ensuring seamless communication throughout the collision repair process. Collision Concierges take pride in their customer service abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, making significant impressions on customers from the moment they arrive at the dealership. This position is typically commission-based, offering an average annual income between $30,000 and $70,000, with exciting potential for career advancement into more specialized roles such as Collision Estimator or Service Advisor.
In this role, Collision Concierges greet customers either on the service drive or in the sales department, gracefully discussing repair options and guiding them through the intricacies of collision claims and insurance programs, including Direct Repair Program (DRP) and non-DRP policies. A Collision Concierge carefully documents repair estimates, seeks customer approvals, and continuously updates customers on the status of their vehicle repairs. They also collaborate closely with internal associates and the collision center to coordinate services, manage administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. This role demands exceptional organization, communication, consultative skills, and technological proficiency to handle both customer interactions and internal processes efficiently.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, Collision Concierges at AutoNation are encouraged to build lasting rapport with customers, creating a foundation for referrals and repeat business. The role provides a prime opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in the automotive service industry, supported by competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, and various employee discounts. AutoNation’s supportive culture places a high value on professional growth and development, cultivating a workplace where associates can thrive personally and professionally while contributing to a larger mission of excellence and community engagement.
