The Colleague Experience Manager position at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is a vital role within the Human Resources department, focused on fostering a positive and engaging environment for all team members. This is a full-time employment opportunity that plays a crucial part in maintaining the resort's reputation for outstanding guest service by supporting and developing its colleagues. The manager will be responsible for overseeing a broad spectrum of Human Resource functions including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment and retention strategies, colleague relations, counseling, safety initiatives, and training and development programs.
An essential focus of the role is to create and implement a personalized onboarding experience that highlights the unique culture and caring environment at Hyatt Regency Clearwater. This not only helps new colleagues feel welcomed and supported but also drives long-term engagement and retention. The Colleague Experience Manager works closely with operational leaders to proactively identify opportunities to enhance the colleague experience on an ongoing basis. By doing so, the manager helps reduce turnover rates and strengthens team performance. The role also includes the administration of weekly payroll and training new leaders on payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Further responsibilities include leading formal learning sessions and facilitating colleague feedback discussions to promote continuous professional development and open communication among staff members. Safety is another critical area where this manager will maintain a proactive culture through routine safety committee meetings, facility walkthroughs, and prompt responses to work-related injuries. Collaborating with hotel management and external business partners, the manager ensures colleagues receive the support and care they need to thrive.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of progressive experience in human resources
- previous operational leadership experience
- strong communication skills both oral and written
- proven team leadership experience
- computer literacy with Microsoft Office proficiency
- ability to adapt to various situations and display empathy
- willingness to evaluate and enhance colleague experience continually
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of progressive experience in human resources preferably in a similar setting
- previous operational leadership experience preferred
- refined oral and written communication skills
- experience as a team leader with ability to achieve business goals and motivate team members
- computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- ability to adapt to various situations display empathy and encourage collaboration and creativity among team members
