The role of Colleague Experience Manager is integral to sustaining this exceptional culture. This position encompasses comprehensive responsibilities in all areas of Human Resources, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment, retention, colleague relations, counseling, safety, and training and development. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Human Resources and the Area Director of Human Resources, the manager is pivotal in fostering a supportive and engaging environment that promotes colleague satisfaction and reduces turnover.

The Colleague Experience Manager is charged with designing and implementing a personalized onboarding process that reflects the unique, caring culture of Hyatt Regency Clearwater. They maintain a thorough knowledge of HR functions and collaborate with operational leaders to enhance the colleague experience continually. This focus ensures that team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to deliver exceptional service to guests.

Key responsibilities also include managing weekly payroll processing and training new leaders on payroll systems. The manager plays an active role in employee development through identifying training needs, leading formal learning sessions, and facilitating feedback discussions to promote continuous improvement and professional growth.

Additionally, maintaining a proactive safety culture is a crucial aspect of this role. The colleague experience manager conducts regular safety committee meetings and walkthroughs, responds to work-related injuries, and partners closely with hotel management and the dedicated leave of absence business partner to provide comprehensive support to colleagues. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years progressive human resources experience
  • Previous operational leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to adapt and display empathy
  • Strong evaluative and collaborative skills

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a similar setting
  • Previous operational leadership experience preferred

Job Duties
