Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries. With a deep-rooted commitment to service and a unified purpose, Aramark strives to make a positive impact not just for its clients but also for colleagues, communities, and the planet. As a company focused on growth and opportunity, Aramark fosters an inclusive work environment where every employee is valued and empowered regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The company believes in the importance of equality, diversity, and professional development, encouraging employees to develop their talents, fuel their passions, and advance their careers.

The Food Service Worker role at Aramark is a vital position within the food service operations, tasked with supporting the manager in food and meal preparation, maintaining accurate cash receipts and meal records, and assisting in the completion of daily reports. This position requires a commitment to quality and sanitation, ensuring that every aspect of food production and kitchen safety meets the highest standards. The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing a variety of food items and baked goods according to planned menus, adhering to departmental policies for serving food, and managing the proper storage and sanitation of food and kitchen equipment.

In addition to food preparation and service, the role includes significant responsibilities in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen. This encompasses tasks such as scrubbing and polishing counters, cleaning tables and equipment, and ensuring the overall hygiene of work and storage areas. The Food Service Worker must also follow strict food safety regulations related to sanitation, food handling, and proper storage to safeguard both consumer health and compliance with regulatory standards.

Communication and coordination with the manager are critical aspects of the role, facilitating accurate preparation of menu items in accordance with daily requirements. The position may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Employees may be required to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety and compliance with workplace standards.

Aramark values adaptability and teamwork; thus, job duties may evolve over time, requiring employees to take on new responsibilities as needed. This flexibility is fundamental to the company's ability to deliver exceptional service consistently. The company also emphasizes employee well-being and professional growth, offering opportunities for career advancement and skill development within a supportive work environment.

Candidates for the Food Service Worker position should possess a Food Service Certificate where applicable, sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions, and the capability to work efficiently under pressure. This role is ideal for individuals dedicated to quality food service, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating effectively within a team to meet organizational goals.
