Job Requirements

Relevant experience in cold food operations or related food production
Proven leadership skills supervising a team in a manufacturing or catering environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including mid-shift schedules
Basic computer literacy
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a food production environment

Job Qualifications

Strong knowledge of cold food production processes and food safety standards
Leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide the production team
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet production schedules
Ability to monitor quality control and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
Good communication skills for clear direction and coordination with other departments
Problem-solving skills to quickly address production issues and minimize downtime
Basic computer skills for logging production data and reporting
Attention to detail to maintain product consistency and standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs

Job Duties

Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
Conduct daily work group meetings
Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity and overtime targets
Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards
Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
