The position available is for a part-time Cognitive Retraining Specialist based in Norristown, PA. This role is a traveling position requiring 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekend or on-call duties. The pay rate is $20 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, making it an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking meaningful part-time employment without night or weekend shifts. As a Cognitive Retraining Specialist, you will deliver personalized cognitive rehabilitation services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Clients typically receive support for developing strategies in memory enhancement, problem-solving, planning, budgeting, social interaction, and vocational readiness. The daily caseload ranges from one to three clients, with each session lasting at least three hours. All services are provided in the community or the client's natural environment, which fosters practical skill application and real-life progress. Extensive, paid training is provided, allowing new specialists to become confident and effective in their roles through a structured two-week training program followed by five weeks of mentorship and ongoing Relias self-directed learning.
