Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food handling and sanitation preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 8-12 hours
- ability to bend, stoop, and climb as needed
- mental and physical dexterity to perform job duties
- early morning availability
- adherence to health and safety regulations including proper glove and mask use
Job Qualifications
- Have a passion and knowledge for coffee and tea and related products and equipment
- exceptional customer service skills
- good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently or in teams
- high standards of excellence and ability to work to high quality and customer service standards
- outgoing and engaging personality with the ability to create excitement around products
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- prior café experience preferred but not required
- ability to perform physical requirements of position
- ability to work an early morning schedule
Job Duties
- Perform all duties and responsibilities as communicated by the Allegro Caf Team Leader
- provide excellent customer service, creating an environment where the customer comes first
- brew and prepare espresso coffee drinks and tea
- food preparation
- maintain high level of product quality by adhering to all Allegro recipes and drink quality standards
- keep work area clean at all times ensuring a sanitary and orderly environment for drink preparation
- operate cash register and perform daily sales and end of day cash count
- maintain extensive knowledge of Allegro products and suggestively sell when appropriate
- provide front desk coverage when needed including checking in guests, sorting packages, maintaining supply closet, providing team member coffee, and miscellaneous administrative tasks
