Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and perform activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- ability to meet work schedule and adhere to company policies
- willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer requests
- answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team
- handles food safely and maintains a clean work area
- reviews food for freshness and prepares and replenishes products
- checks in products, puts them away and reviews invoices
- operates registers and handles payments where applicable
- removes trash in a timely manner
- maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
- washes dishes as necessary
- orders products and supplies
- prices products for customers
- assists in other store areas as needed
- performs other job related duties and special projects as required
