Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to perform medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- able to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- adherence to company personal hygiene and dress standards
- reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names
- assists customers by escorting them to products and securing out-of-reach items
- answers telephone promptly and takes customer orders
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handles food safely and keeps work area clean
- reviews food freshness and maintains adequate supply
- prepares and replenishes product as necessary
- runs department registers and processes payments
- removes trash timely
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- follows company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time and as scheduled
