Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- must possess clarity of vision, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
- must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear and perform repetitive motions
- employment contingent upon successful pre-employment drug screen
- ability to adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- must report to work on time as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to copy figures, count and record
- ability to understand verbal and demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading and unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service including taking orders
- takes customer orders at the counter
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- handles food safely and maintains cleanliness of work area
- reviews food status and freshness
- ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- prepares and replenishes products as necessary
- checks in product and puts it away
- operates registers and handles payments
- removes trash timely
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time and as scheduled
