Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience as a barista in specialty coffee or 2+ years in non-specialty coffee
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years experience as a barista in specialty coffee or 2+ years in high volume non-specialty coffee
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high pressure environments
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Passion for customer service
Job Duties
- Follow BL recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
- Manage coffee shop equipment and tool cleaning and maintenance
- Follow BL operating procedures including accurate transaction processing and safety measures
- Dial machine and maintain consistent espresso extraction
- Educate, upsell and excite locals about the menu
- Train and acclimate new baristas to store and BL system
- Contribute to workflow innovations to improve speed and efficiency
