Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks such as counseling customers on specials, taking orders and payments, packaging items for sale, and educating customers about coffee and tea blends and brewing techniques. In addition to frontline customer interactions, employees will also partake in operational duties like cleaning and restocking, inventory management, and possibly leadership responsibilities including scheduling shifts and overseeing supplies.

The ideal candidate will hold a New Mexico Food Handler's card upon the start date and demonstrate exceptional communication and listening skills. A polite and engaging personality is essential for fostering positive interactions with customers, local community members, city leaders, and vendors. Job Duties

  • Welcoming customers informing them about specials or new items answering questions and accepting orders and payments
  • Packaging food and beverages for sale
  • Selling coffee and tea blends and brewing equipment highlighting the differences between items and educating customers about brewing methods
  • Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils
  • Learning about brewing methods beverage blends food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality
  • Updating signage and displays to attract customers
  • Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases at tables or behind the counter
  • Working as part of a fun high-energy team
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls
  • May include leadership tasks involving inventory oversight ordering and supply management
  • May include leadership tasks of scheduling for shifts
