Job Description
We are a vibrant coffee shop dedicated to providing exceptional coffee experiences and fostering a warm, welcoming environment where both guests and team members feel valued. Our establishment prides itself on serving high-quality espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages, emphasizing consistency, quality, and excellent customer service. As a staple in the community, our coffee shop thrives on genuine relationships with customers, ensuring every visit is memorable and enjoyable. We believe in promoting from within and supporting our team through training and development opportunities, wellness resources, and a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan.
We are currently seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic Lead Coffee Shop Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about coffee and eager to lead from the floor. As a Lead Coffee Shop Associate, you will set the pace, uphold the highest standards, and create a positive vibe during each shift. You will act as the point person, supporting daily flow, staffing, and service execution while coaching team members on drink preparation, speed, and service standards. This is a highly hands-on position, requiring someone who takes ownership of the guest experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this leadership role, you will help onboard and train new associates, ensuring they understand our expectations and quality benchmarks. Your ability to maintain consistency and quality, especially during rushes, will be crucial. Alongside preparing drinks, maintaining equipment, and monitoring inventory levels, you will also be responsible for opening and closing the shop, handling POS transactions and cash, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Your role is central to keeping operations running smoothly while delivering warm, confident, and genuine customer service that helps build relationships with regular guests and handle concerns professionally.
This position demands a calm and detail-oriented individual who is reliable and possesses strong on-floor leadership skills, even with limited barista experience. Your positive, team-first attitude will inspire those around you and contribute to a supportive work environment. In return, we offer substantial benefits including a 401(k), ongoing training and development, and wellness resources designed to support your career growth and personal well-being. Join us to lead a team passionate about coffee and customer satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on every shift you oversee.
