  • Previous shift lead experience or strong on-floor leadership skills
  • Deep understanding of espresso and café workflow
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure

Job Duties

  • Lead the shift
  • Act as the point person during assigned shifts
  • Support daily flow, staffing, and service execution
  • Coach team members on drinks, speed, and service standards
  • Help onboard and train new associates
  • Step in to solve problems and keep the energy steady
  • Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation especially during rushes
  • Keep equipment clean, calibrated, and respected
  • Provide warm, confident, and genuine customer service
  • Build relationships with regulars
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and ease
  • Open and close the shop as scheduled
  • Handle POS transactions and cash responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization standards
  • Monitor inventory levels, waste, and product quality
  • Communicate issues or needs to management
