Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a dynamic real estate company that values people just as much as properties. Known for its innovative approach, Core Spaces goes beyond traditional real estate by fostering a culture centered around relationships, community, and continual growth. The company integrates a broad spectrum of professionals including researchers, architects, designers, and operators who all share a commitment to inventing the future of living. Core Spaces operates under six cultural values—PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better)—which guide its everyday operations and define its unique identity. This culture of collaboration and innovation fuels Core's passion to enhance the resident experience through thoughtfully created spaces and services that redefine how people live.
Inside Core Spaces' student housing communities, New Here Coffee stands as a vibrant hub fueling campus energy, connection, and culture with every cup. As a beloved spot for students, classmates, and caffeine lovers, New Here Coffee offers quality drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lively community vibe that enriches the student living experience. Designed to be a convenient, friendly, and energetic space, New Here Coffee invites students to pause between classes, enjoy a calming study break, or socialize with friends. The barista role at New Here Coffee is an integral part of delivering this exceptional environment where every visitor feels valued and energized. This position emphasizes both operational excellence and community connection, aligning closely with Core Spaces' commitment to fostering spaces that bring people together.

It also requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle activities like lifting up to 25 pounds.
This part-time position offers competitive pay and benefits including paid time off, an employee assistance program, and retirement options such as a 401(k) plan with matching and Roth account options. With a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, the role promises a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment where employees’ voices are heard and their unique contributions appreciated.
