The role of the Coffee Bar Supervisor is integral to the smooth operation of the Coffee Bar within the store. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- capability to handle exposure to cold temperatures
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to supervise and lead a team
- flexibility to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables as they are presented
- ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
- ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise in proper locations
- availability to work shifts varying in length including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
- train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Coffee Bar associates to maintain performance standards
- supervise and participate in all Coffee Bar activities
- maintain customer service levels and handle multiple priorities
- ensure safety protocols are followed regarding use of sharp knives, cleaning chemicals, and equipment
