Job Description

This position is within a retail or food service environment where internal candidates are expected to deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, specifically focused on the operation and management of a Coffee Bar. The establishment operates in a fast-paced store environment, exposing employees to varying temperatures, including approximately 28 degrees Fahrenheit in cooler areas and -20 degrees Fahrenheit in freezer sections. Employees in this role also face potential hazards such as sharp knives, cleaning chemicals, dust, and moving equipment. The role requires multitasking and maintaining high customer service standards under pressure, demonstrating the importance of managing multiple priorities effectively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers
  • Capability to handle sharp tools safely
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced work environment with potential exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment hazards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and stressful situations
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
  • Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Ability to write identifying information and request supplies
  • Visual acuity with clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception
  • Ability to read product descriptions and shelf tags
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
