Job Description

The hiring establishment is a customer-oriented retail store known for its commitment to excellent service and high-quality products. As a dynamic environment, the store provides a wide range of products to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. The business prides itself on maintaining a welcoming and efficient atmosphere where both customers and staff can thrive. The establishment employs a team of dedicated professionals who work collaboratively to uphold the brand's standards and ensure customer satisfaction. They offer a work setting that supports growth, teamwork, and the development of skills pertinent to retail and customer service industries.

The role in focus is that of a Coffee Bar Supervisor, a critical position within the store that directly influences the customer experience. This role involves providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded at all times. The Coffee Bar Supervisor is responsible for training, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Coffee Bar associates to maintain and elevate performance standards. This includes hands-on participation in all Coffee Bar activities, making sure that quality, hygiene, and operational procedures are strictly followed.

The position requires working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, with exposure to temperature-controlled areas such as coolers and freezers. The role demands the ability to multitask effectively, manage various priorities, and handle potentially hazardous situations involving sharp knives, cleaning chemicals, and moving equipment. Regular exposure to low temperatures typical of cooler and freezer environments underscores the physical aspect of this role. The supervisor must enforce safety protocols and ensure the team complies with all safety regulations to protect employees and customers.

In addition to operational duties, the Coffee Bar Supervisor has a significant responsibility to maintain high customer service levels, motivating the team to deliver excellent service consistently. This job requires good problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during daily operations. The supervisor should possess strong communication skills to clearly convey instructions, provide feedback, and collaborate effectively with both team members and management.

The role typically involves working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the store's operating hours and customer demand patterns. Given the physical demands and the nature of the environment, the ideal candidate must be adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. This opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy leadership in a customer-focused retail setting and are eager to contribute to the store's success through dedicated supervision and quality service delivery. The job is classified as a full-time position, offering a competitive salary aligned with industry standards.
