Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a grocery or retail supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to work in cold storage environments
- Ability to operate sharp knives safely
- Ability to read and write
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under stress
Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- Ability to do simple addition subtraction counting and recording
- Ability to understand and follow written verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Must be able to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order product and place merchandise properly
- Ability to work shifts varying in length and times including nights weekends and holidays
- Must have clarity of vision at distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
Job Duties
- Provide prompt efficient and friendly customer service
- Train coach supervise and evaluate grocery associates to maintain performance standards
- Supervise and participate in all grocery dairy and frozen activities
- Supervise store in the absence of store director or assistant store director
- Monitor and enforce all government and company regulations
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ensure safety procedures are followed when using sharp knives and handling cleaning chemicals
