Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • open and close work areas including organizing supplies and instruments cleaning equipment and locking doors
  • organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
  • take orders, enter them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee
  • ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • clean tables and café cart areas
  • maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  • secure the necessary change for expected transaction levels
  • reconcile the cash register at shift end, complete assigned cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, provide receipts, and secure the cash
  • adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and report maintenance or safety issues
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform
  • uphold privacy of company information and protect company property
  • support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • assist the team in achieving common goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • read and verify information visually
  • inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
  • manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • meet all additional reasonable work tasks as assigned by supervisors
