Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 2+ years experience as a cocktail server preferred
- Strong beverage knowledge
- Ability to use a moderately complex computer system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work in a smoking-permitted terrace area
- Must obtain state occupational gaming license
- Must pass drug and background checks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 2+ years of previous experience working as a cocktail server preferred
- Strong knowledge of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Must be able to lift trays of beverage items weighing up to 30 lbs regularly
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted
- Must apply and obtain appropriate state occupational gaming license including lifetime FBI criminal background check
- Must pass drug testing as per company policy
Job Duties
- Takes orders and serves beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner using suggestive selling techniques
- Serves food to guests
- Ensures that guests are served in accordance to state and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol, including checking identification
- Determines when a guest has had too much alcohol and contacts the manager on duty or security for assistance
- Is able to take care of several orders at once
- Describes all beverage items, prices and methods of preparation
- Controls guest checks to secure proper payment
- Maintains an opening and closing check list
- Answers general customer inquiries as needed
- All other duties as assigned
