The role of Cocktail Server in the Hotel Bar at The Broadmoor represents an integral position within this celebrated establishment. This position offers a competitive pay range of $19-25 per hour, which includes an hourly wage plus commissions from service charges. As a Cocktail Server within The Broadmoor's Hotel Bar, you will not only be responsible for serving food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, but also act as an ambassador of the resort brand. Your duties extend to educating guests about the bar’s diverse inventory of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, guiding them through recommendations tailored to their preferences. Your role as a cocktail tour guide plays a critical part in enhancing guests' experiences by sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about the offerings.
This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and who appreciate the privilege of representing a globally recognized luxury brand. You will interact closely with guests, answering menu questions, and making personalized suggestions that align with the esteemed service promise of The Broadmoor. Additionally, the role requires collaborating effectively within a team setting, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, and consistently demonstrating professionalism in line with Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond standards.
Beyond the dynamic food and beverage service, your responsibilities include detailed order management, communication with kitchen and bar staff, completing necessary side work, and maintaining cash handling accuracy. The Broadmoor places a strong emphasis on ongoing professional development, offering continuous training in menu knowledge, beverage expertise, and service skills to ensure you remain well-equipped to excel in this prestigious environment.
